The Spaced Repetition trick: learn quicker!

Have you noticed that soon after learning a new study material you remember very little of it? The less you have a chance to repeat what you have learned, the greater the speed with which the newly acquired knowledge evaporates from your memory.

LearnDutchToday_-_MemriseSpaced repetition is a learning technique that incorporates increasing intervals of time between subsequent review of previously learned material to boost the speed and ease of learning.

Imagine learning something new. ➳ You then repeat it (or are tested on it) 2 hours later. ➳ Again after 12 hours. ➳ Then 2 days later. ➳ Again 10 days later.

If after those 10 days of spaced repetition you still remember this word, then chances are high that you will from now on remember this word.
